Your team has eaten a lot of sandwich platters. A truck pulling into the car park with real food coming out of the window is a different sort of day, and it costs about the same.

Food truck catering for a Sydney tech company runs from $18 to $35 per head plus GST, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. We bring the truck, the crew and everything else, park in your car park or loading area, and serve to order across your window. For a team with mixed dietary needs, the whole menu can be built around them rather than tacked onto the end of it.
The reason an all hands lunch matters in a tech business is not the calories. It is one of the few moments in the quarter where everyone is physically in the same place at the same time, and the food is the thing that makes people stay in the room afterwards rather than drifting back to a desk.
That means a tray of cold sandwiches quietly undoes the point of the day. Food cooked in front of people, handed over hot, with a queue that people happily stand in because they can smell it, does the opposite. It buys you twenty minutes of the room actually talking to each other, which is the thing you were trying to buy in the first place.
We run four trucks across six cuisines: Korean fried chicken, American BBQ, all halal snack packs, tacos, Belgian fries and pizza. Most cuisines can be run from most trucks, so the menu is built around your day rather than around our roster. If you want two different things on offer, say so and we will tell you honestly what that costs and whether it is worth it at your headcount.
Tech teams tend to be the most dietarily varied rooms we cater. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal, and a handful of people with genuine allergies rather than preferences. The failure mode is not that they get nothing. It is that they get the obviously separate, obviously worse option, in front of everybody.
Here is what is true. Everything on the Abu snack pack truck is halal, though we are not formally halal certified, and we would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise. The snack packs are gluten free, and gluten free wraps are available on request. The tacos come on soft corn tortillas, which are gluten free by default. The Belgian fries are cooked in beef tallow, so they are not vegetarian or vegan unless we run a separate fryer, which we can do on request.
Tell us your numbers by dietary need rather than a general note, and we will build the menu so the options sit alongside everything else rather than off to one side. If someone has a serious allergy, tell us specifically and we will be honest about what we can and cannot promise on a truck.
A Google pin of the car park, loading area or forecourt is the fastest way to start. We will check the approach and the clearance on a map and confirm the truck fits before anyone commits.
Numbers by dietary need, not a general note. We come back with a menu where the vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and halal options sit alongside everything else, plus a clear per head number.

Set up before your window, cook to order through it, then pack down and take our rubbish. One tax invoice with GST broken out, terms of 7 to 14 days, and a purchase order number on it if you use one.
Sydney Olympic Park · 400 people · one lunch window
Four hundred of the Samsung team, fresh cooked Korean fried chicken, served across a single lunch window at Sydney Olympic Park. A big number through one window is a run sheet problem more than a cooking problem, and it was planned that way.
The result. 400 people fed inside one window without the queue ever getting silly.

We put together one package covering several cuisines plus dessert, and we have catered their events ever since.
The result. One booking, one invoice, and a client relationship running for years.

The client chose a deliberately narrow menu so the queue would move. Our range is much wider, but on a tight break the short menu is the one that gets everybody fed, and we said so.
The result. 150 fed inside the break because the menu was built for the clock.

Yes, and it is most of what we do. Everything on the Abu snack pack truck is halal, although we are not formally halal certified, and we would rather tell you that than let you assume. The snack packs are gluten free and gluten free wraps are available on request. The tacos are on soft corn tortillas, gluten free by default. The Belgian fries are cooked in beef tallow, so they need a separate fryer to be vegetarian or vegan, which we can arrange on request.
No. Every truck carries its own generator, gas and water, so nothing plugs into your building. That saves a conversation with facilities and with the landlord, and it means we can park somewhere that has no services at all.
Yes. We accept purchase orders and will quote your PO number on the invoice. We are GST registered under ABN 30 609 356 005 and a registered supplier on buy.nsw. A 25 percent deposit holds the date, then the balance is invoiced on terms of 7 to 14 days, as one tax invoice with GST broken out.
On a straightforward menu we get about three orders out every sixty seconds, and faster on the simpler items. The honest lever is the menu: a short menu moves a queue far quicker than a long one. Tell us how many minutes your window really is and we will tell you what menu fits it rather than promising you both.
