The feed people remember

Hot food when everyone is hungry again.

A few hours after the main meal, once the speeches are done and the music is up, everyone is hungry again. A truck opening its hatch at that moment brings out hot food that is easy to hold, with no cutlery or sitting down needed.

We can be the whole night, from reception through to the late top up, or just the late shift if the dinner is already sorted. Either way the truck is self contained, with its own power and water, so it needs nothing from the venue at midnight.

Where it works

Weddings, parties and functions after dark.

Wedding late night feed

Full reception plus a late top up, or just the late shift after a plated dinner. We time the truck around the speeches, music and venue finish time.

21sts and big parties

Backyard and venue parties where the crowd is still going at eleven. A late feed keeps the night on the rails.

Corporate functions

Christmas parties, awards nights and end of year functions that run late. The truck outside is the natural place the party drifts to.

Fast, tight menu

A short late night menu serves quickly. We usually get about three orders out every 60 seconds depending on the menu, which helps keep the queue moving.

Pricing and setup

Quoted for the shift you actually need.

Pricing starts from $18 per head plus GST, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. A late night service on its own is usually a shorter, tighter menu than a full dinner, so we quote it per event rather than charging you for a service you are not using. That covers the staff, the setup, the pack down and our $20M public liability insurance, with a clear GST tax invoice afterwards, and no metro travel fee in Sydney.

On setup, private property with a flat, safe spot is straightforward, and the finish time is between you and the venue. Public or council land, like a park, reserve, street or footpath, needs approval first, and the approval usually sets the hours. Our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils and we help with the paperwork. Send us the date, the numbers and the hours you want covered, and a clear quote usually comes back within the hour in business hours.

FAQ

Late night catering questions, answered.

What is late night food truck catering?

A second wave of hot food later in the night, once the formal meal is done and the dancing has started. At weddings, parties and functions it is the feed people actually remember: hot, easy to eat standing up, and served when everyone is hungry again. We can be the whole night, or just the late shift.

What food works best late at night?

Things you can eat with one hand while the music is going. Snack packs and kebabs, smash burgers and Korean fried chicken, tacos, loaded fries in a cone, pizza. Pick the truck that suits the crowd and we will build a tight late menu that serves fast.

How late can you serve?

Tell us the time you want the truck to open and close and we will plan around it. On private property the finish time is agreed with your venue. On public or council land, approval conditions usually set the hours, and we work within them.

Can you do the late night feed at a wedding?

Yes, and it is one of our favourite bookings. Some couples have us for the full reception and a late top up; others already have the dinner sorted and book us just for the late shift. Either way the truck rolling in mid dance floor tends to get a bigger cheer than the entree did.

How much does late night catering cost and what is the minimum?

From $18 per head plus GST, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. A late night service alone is usually a shorter, tighter menu than a full meal, and we quote it per event so you are not paying for a full dinner service you do not need. Clear quote usually within the hour in business hours.

Where can you set up late at night?

Private property with a flat, safe spot is straightforward: a venue forecourt, a driveway, a car park, a backyard. Public spaces like parks, reserves, streets and footpaths need council approval first, and the approval usually sets the hours. Our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils and we help with the paperwork.
