Depot crews come and go, standby teams cannot leave the yard, and the office wants in too. We park on the hardstand, run off our own generator, and keep cooking between the waves so everyone gets fed on their own clock.

Food truck catering for a Sydney utilities or energy company runs from $18 to $35 per head plus GST, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. We serve depot and yard days in waves rather than one hit, so crews on shift and on standby all get a hot meal without leaving their post empty. Every truck carries its own generator, gas and water, so we draw nothing from your site. Food safety documentation and a certificate of currency for $20M public liability go across ahead of the day.
A depot lunch is three different lunches pretending to be one. Field crews roll back in across an hour or more, depending on where the morning took them. Standby and control room staff cannot walk away from what they are watching. And the office team upstairs will be down at twelve on the dot, as offices do.
Feed that like a single sitting and someone gets cold food or nothing. So we run it as waves. Tell us roughly who lands when, and we set the truck up to serve across the whole window, cooking between the waves rather than sitting idle. That is what stops a queue forming when a crew of thirty walks in together, and what means the last truck back still gets something hot.
For anyone who genuinely cannot leave a desk or a panel, tell us and we will plate up for a runner to carry across. On throughput, a straightforward menu gets about three orders out every sixty seconds, and quicker on the simple items. If your break is short, we cut the menu to the two or three items that move fastest. It is almost always the right trade.
Depots have trucks moving, plant parked, and areas we should not be near. None of that is a problem. It just needs agreeing before the day rather than at the gate. Send us a Google pin of where you want us and we will check the approach and the turning circle on a map and tell you honestly whether the truck fits.
The fleet runs from 7 metres up to 11.5 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and 3.5 metres high. We need roughly 2 metres clear either side to serve, and overhead clearance of 3.7 metres or more is comfortable. We do not go into underground car parks. Firm gravel and hardstand are ideal, and a driveway is fine if it is wide enough.
Every truck is fully self contained: generator, gas and water all on board. We are not asking your site to find us a power point, and there is a certain irony in an energy company being asked for one anyway. If your induction pack needs food safety documentation or a certificate of currency for our $20M public liability, send it through and we will complete it before we arrive.
Headcount, the site address, roughly who lands when, and a Google pin of the standing spot. That is enough for a real quote, usually back within the hour.
Approach, gate, turning circle and clearance checked on a map. Certificate of currency, food safety documentation and your induction pack completed before the date, with crew and vehicle details if you need them.
We agree a menu that keeps moving across the window, including the dietary options, and a 25 percent deposit holds the date. A shorter menu if the breaks are tight. We will tell you which we think you need.
Set up out of the way early, run on our own supply, serve as crews land, pack down and take our rubbish. One tax invoice with GST broken out, on terms of 7 to 14 days, with your PO number on it.
Kelso · shift feeds since 2023
Feeding shift teams at an operating regional plant, over and over, from 2023 onward. The line kept running, we worked around it, and the relationship grew from there into a centenary booking planned for September 2026.
The result. A shift based site fed repeatedly without ever asking it to slow down.

Around 150 staff eating in shifts rather than together. Side swaps agreed up front so nobody was making decisions at the window while a queue built behind them.
The result. Everyone fed inside their own break, and the day kept moving.

A crew of 220 fed from one self contained truck on an active site inside two hours, three days after the first message. Nothing drawn from the site, and extra stock carried so anyone wanting something different could have it.
The result. All 220 fed inside the window, from a truck that needed nothing from the site.

Yes, and it is the normal way we run a depot. Tell us roughly who lands when and we build the run sheet around it, cooking between the waves so there is hot food ready whenever the next crew rolls in rather than a queue forming when they do.
No. Every truck carries its own generator, gas and water on board. Nothing plugs into your supply, so there is no work order to raise and no new load on the site. We just need a flat, safe spot to stand and enough clearance to serve.
Yes. We hold $20M public liability and can supply a certificate of currency on request, along with food safety documentation and a Working With Children Check where an event needs one. Send us the induction pack when you confirm and we will complete it before the day, with crew names and vehicle details if your site needs them.
We serve. Rain does not stop us and we have done plenty of wet days. The only reason a wet day gets called off is if you decide to call it off. If your crews will be queuing in the open, it is worth thinking about where they will stand, and we are happy to move to a more sheltered spot on the site if there is one.
